Delete your account and data

Every Street works without an account. Your walks, your location history and your progress are stored only on your phone. Online data exists only if you turned on “Share my totals” for leaderboards and crews.

Delete your online data in the app

  1. Open Every Street and go to You › Settings.
  2. Under Leaderboards & Crews, turn off Share my totals.
  3. Confirm with Delete My Online Data. If you linked Sign in with Apple or a Google account, you may be asked to confirm with it.

This immediately deletes, in every city:

  • your leaderboard profiles (display name, home district, block counts),
  • your crew memberships, and the crews you created with their members and join codes,
  • your account with Firebase Authentication, including a linked Apple or Google sign-in. On iPhone, the app also revokes Sign in with Apple.

Your walks stay on your phone, and you can turn sharing back on at any time with a fresh profile.

Delete the data on your phone

Uninstall the app. This deletes everything it stored on the phone: walks, progress, downloaded city packs, your profile photo and settings. Walks the app saved to Apple Health or Health Connect stay there; delete them in the Health app or in Health Connect.

Request deletion by email

If you can’t use the app any more (for example, you lost your phone), write to jakob.sudau@icloud.com with the subject “Delete my Every Street data”. Accounts are anonymous, so please tell us your display name, the city or cities of your leaderboard profile and, if you created one, your crew’s name. We delete the data within one month and confirm by email. We will never ask for your location or password.

What is kept

Nothing. We keep no copies. Deleted data may remain for a limited time in Google’s internal backups before it is overwritten. Details: privacy policy, section 9.

Konto und Daten löschen

Every Street funktioniert ohne Konto.

  1. Öffne Every Street und geh zu Du › Einstellungen.
  2. Schalte unter Ranglisten & Crews den Schalter Meine Summen teilen aus.
  3. Bestätige mit Meine Online-Daten löschen. Hast du „Mit Apple anmelden“ oder ein Google-Konto verknüpft, musst du ggf. damit bestätigen.

Damit werden sofort, in allen Städten, gelöscht:

  • deine Ranglisten-Profile (Anzeigename, Heimatviertel, Blockzahlen),

Was bleibt

Nichts.
